School Council

St. Bonaventure operates a School Council and a Parent Association. All parents/guardians are encouraged to participate in these groups.

A School Council is a collective association of parents/guardians, teachers, secondary students, principal, staff and community representative(s) whose purpose is to advise the principal and the board respecting matters relating to the school. It is a means for parents and community members to work together to support and enhance student learning.

A Parent  Association is a group that provides a means for parents/guardians and community members to provide additional financial resources and support to the school. This is usually done through participation in casinos and other fundraising activities.
